Hello there! Welcome to my bookblog, Theodore’s Bookish Thoughts (‘TBT’).
A few things about me:
- I grew-up in North-West Wales where I went to a Welsh-medium school;
- I studied Law at Cardiff University;
- After University I moved to Hampshire where I now work in the legal sector;
- My main hobbies include reading (obviously), writing, musicals, and long walks; and
- I intend on one day writing a book.
As you would expect from someone with a book blog, I have a love for reading. I have done for as long as I can remember – I used to get a lot of odd looks and comments for reading in the dinner queue at school – And law school failed to diminish that love of reading.
A question I often get is “what kind of books do you read?”. I hate that question, because I never quite know how to answer, so I go with the typical lawyer answer of “it depends”. It depends on what I’m in the mood for reading. One week it’s romance, the next it will be crime, the next it will be a popular science book. Which means that I rarely read through a series of books because what I am reading one day, I might not fancy reading another day (though I will finish the book as long as I am enjoying it, but equally I am not afraid to DNF a book if I am not enjoying it).
So that it is largely what you can expect from my book blog – My thoughts on the random mish-mash of books I have read and (hopefully) enjoyed with some book/reading-related posts in between.
I hope you enjoy reading my posts and, if you are a fellow book-lover, then please do get in tough – It is always nice to hear other people’s thoughts on books I have read.
